02/Scaffolds

Don’t start from zero.

Start with a proven foundation.

Firstbyte Scaffolds are pre-built foundations for common business systems. Instead of building everything from scratch, we start with proven infrastructure and customise it around your workflows, brand and requirements.

A foundation for conversations that can be answered, handed over and reviewed in one place.

03/Selected work

Built for the real world.

A selection of systems we’ve designed to solve real operational problems.

01/Debt Collection Automation

Zeroed

A debt recovery platform that brings communication, payment tracking and reporting into one system.

The problem
Debt follow-ups were inconsistent and required significant manual intervention.
What we built
A debt recovery platform designed to automate communication and collection workflows across multiple channels.
The result
Follow-ups, payment tracking and reporting sit in one system, so the team intervenes when a case needs a person.

02/Customer Support Automation

Front Desk

A support system for routine conversations, human handover and a single view of every thread.

The problem
Enquiries arrived across inboxes and chat apps, so replies and handovers depended on who happened to see the message.
What we built
A support workspace with AI conversations, WhatsApp, human handover, a shared dashboard and analytics.
The result
Routine questions are answered immediately. A person steps in when a conversation needs one.

03/AI Education Platform

BuddyAI

An AI-powered tutoring platform that gives learners instant academic support through WhatsApp, backed by a dashboard for managing learners and conversations.

The problem
Traditional tutoring isn’t always available when learners need help. BuddyAI needed a way for students to access academic support through a platform they already use every day.
What we built
A WhatsApp-based AI tutoring platform that lets learners ask questions, receive explanations and get academic support, with a central dashboard for managing learners and monitoring conversations.
The result
Learners can access personalised academic support directly from WhatsApp, while administrators have a single place to oversee activity, learners and conversations.

05/Firstbyte

Automation should solve problems - not create new ones.

Firstbyte is an AI automation and software company focused on building practical technology for real businesses.

We combine AI, automation and custom software to remove repetitive work, connect disconnected processes and create systems that help teams operate more efficiently.

We don’t automate for the sake of using AI.

We build technology where it actually makes sense.
